ArmInfo. Artak Zeynalyan is going to strengthen the position of the Prime Minister even more if he is elected Mayor of Yerevan from the "Luys" bloc. This was stated  by the deputy of the fraction "Elk" Aram Sargsyan, who supports the  "Luys" block.

According to Sargsyan, it is not necessary to link the election of  the mayor of Yerevan with the extraordinary parliamentary elections.  "It can not be said that Hayk Marutyan should win the mayor elections  so that Nikol Pashinyan won in the parliamentary elections. One has  nothing to do with the other, "he said.

According to the deputy, it would not be a problem to dissolve the  National Assembly if Nikol Pashinyan followed the spirit of the  revolution. "Nevertheless, elections are the main solution to the  problems, the way to resolve the current situation in Armenia is to  hold elections." The current parliament and public approaches are  incompatible with each other, there is a contrast between the society  and the parliament. this problem must be solved through parliamentary  elections, "he said.

According to Aram Sargsyan, Pashinyan once was able to find a common  language with the parliamentary factions, and at the moment he can  agree with these forces. "And today Pashinyan can come to a consensus  with members of parliamentary factions, explain that in order to pull  the country out of this situation it is necessary to dissolve the  National Assembly," Aram Sargsyan said.

In his opinion, if Pashinyan does not come to a consensus with  parliamentary factions and the problem is not solved, in this case it  will be a question of contrasting Pashinyan's actions with the idea  of revolution. "I want us to return to the origins of the revolution,  when Pashinyan tried to create a party of national agreement, let the  authorities come to where they started," added Aram Sargsyan.

It should be reminded that the Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan is  the candidate for Mayor of Yerevan from the "Luys" party. Elections  to the Council of Elders of Yerevan will be held on September 23.
