A certain preparatory stage may be required for resumption of the negotiation process on the Karabakh settlement, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this during a working visit to Tavush region of the republic. "We have already stated that we are ready for any scenario of the development of events, including the resumption of negotiations (on Karabakh - ed. note), But I think we all realize that for the negotiation process, especially in the current political situation, a certain preparatory stage and certain preconditions are needed, "Pashinyan said.
In addition, as the Prime Minister stressed, the Armenian government expressed political readiness to continue the negotiation process on Karabakh - in a constructive manner - within the framework of taken political commitments and in the context of Armenia's national interests.
The head of the Armenian government also said that as for now there are no news about his possible first meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
