ArmInfo. The only right way to support the border areas is to stand side by side with the investor who is interested in the development of the region, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced on August 10 at a meeting with the residents of Berd of the Tavush region of Armenia.
According to Pashinyan, he was one of the initiators of the law on granting privileges to the border communities. "And this was at the time when our villages were fired by enemy. We set the task of providing part of the electricity on preferential terms and other privileges. But we realize that this is symbolic -assistance may be increased, but still, it means washing hands and not solving the main problem of development"- said the Prime Minister.
For today, as Nikol Pashinyan pointed out, the government has found another way to support border villages. "We will stand next to those entrepreneurs who will come and make investments, open job places, they would make profit and would be interested in expanding their activities in the regions," the Prime Minister of Armenia specified.
