ArmInfo. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and Indian Ambassador to Armenia Yogeshwar Sangwan discussed on August 2 the consistent development of relations between the two countries.
As the press service of the executive body of Armenia reports, Nikol Pashinyan noted the interest of the Armenian government to expand and deepen cooperation with the Indian side in various fields. He noted the importance of stimulating trade and economic relations and taking appropriate steps in this direction.
Yogeshwar Sangwan, in turn, noted the potential development of the Armenian-Indian relations. He assured that he will make every effort to give a new impetus to multilateral cooperation between Armenia and India.
The interlocutors discussed issues concerning the prospects for development of cooperation in various spheres of the economy, including information technologies, tourism, healthcare, education. It should be noted that there are no data on mutual trade between Armenia and India in the National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia.
