ArmInfo.Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan dismissed the deputy head of the Special Investigation Service Mushegh Babayan.
As the press service of the government reports, Babayan was relieved of his post, according to his own will.
According to media reports, it was Babayan who was supposed to interrogate the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan within the framework of the case on March 1, 2008 events.
Kocharyan should be questioned today. However, as the head of the office of the second president Viktor Soghomonyan told journalists, the time of the questioning, published by a number of mass media, is incorrect: "Kocharyan should be questioned not at 12:00, as a number of mass media report, but at another time that is not published." Soghomonyan also said that the interrogation process will be recorded by the SIS staff, but this record, he said, is not subject to disclosure.
