ArmInfo. The official website of the III International Exhibition Forum "Eurasian Week" in 2018 published the architecture of the business program. The forum will be held in Yerevan, Armenia, on October 24-26, 2018, and will bring together 2,500 participants - representatives of government and business, specialists from development institutions, financial regulators, experts from member states of the Eurasian Economic Union and partner countries of the Union.
The business program of the III International Forum "Eurasian Week" will be held in three main directions - the strategic, industry and business track. The strategic track is aimed at creating the conditions for a direct dialogue between entrepreneurs and regulators at the national and supranational levels. The plenary session will be devoted to industrial cooperation - the participants will discuss how to learn to trust each other and benefit from it. The strategic track also includes a panel discussion on competition in the territory of the Union, the future of the EAEU in the light of world challenges, the Great Eurasian partnership, the business dialogue on tax administration without prejudice to cooperation, the debate about the prospects of the crypto currency and other attributes of the digital economy, brainstorming "The Future By the eyes of the youth."
At the summit of the regions of the countries of the Union there will be a discussion on how to remove barriers and strengthen the processes of interregional cooperation in the field of industry.
Traditionally, during the "Eurasian Week" discussions will be held on cooperation with the partner countries of the EAEU. This time one of such events will be devoted to China, with which in May 2018 the Agreement on trade and economic cooperation was signed; another - to Iran, which then signed the Interim Agreement leading to the formation of a free trade zone.
A key part of the strategic track is the meeting of the EAEU Business Council, where business representatives will determine the priorities for the development of the economy of the Union, discuss how to increase competitiveness through cooperation, and agree on joint promotion of products to the markets of third countries. The meeting of the Consultative Council for Cooperation between the EEC and the Business Council of the EAEU is scheduled.
Within the framework of the industry track, sessions and discussions on the development of cooperation and expansion of export opportunities in the field of information technology and precision engineering, in agriculture, light industry, in the pharmaceutical and medical products market, in the jewelry and lighting industries, as well as in the creation of smart cities. Particular attention will be paid to the creation of a common infrastructure, the development of common standards and the harmonization of legislation.
One of the expected industry events of the "Eurasian Week" is the final of the competition of innovative projects "Eurasian Digital Platforms" and the awarding of its winners.
The business track of the business program will solve practical problems that arise for entrepreneurs, expand business contacts in the EAEU and third countries. Among the planned events is the discussion of industrialists and transport workers about the problems of the transport and logistics complex. Two more topics for discussion: the creation of new digital products for the EAEU market and the production of smart building materials. There will also be workshops for entrepreneurs - how to establish a business to enter the market of the EAEU, go to the trade networks.
