ArmInfo. The National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia provides details about the detention and the results of the search of the buildings belonging to the General, MP of the National Assembly of Armenia Manvel Grigoryan.
As the press center of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia informs, in the framework of activities directed against crime, the Service opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 235 (illegal circulation of weapons) of the Criminal Code of Armenia. The body of national security on June 16 conducted a search in the mansion and rest zone of Manvel Grigoryan.
According to the source, the recreation area was turned into a weapons warehouse, a garage of dozens of retro and modern cars. The dacha in Aknalich served for the general as a storehouse for food, hygiene products, medicines, military uniforms, on which was marked "soldier rations". "From the letters in the boxes addressed to servicemen, it is obvious that the contents of the boxes are the help sent for soldiers to the front line, in the days of April war back in," the NSS press center reported.

During the search of the recreation zone at the village of Arshaluys, house 28, 18 anti-tank mortars of the PG-7 type were confiscated; 20 pieces of grenade type "F-1"; 21 589 pieces of cartridges of different caliber; 12 400-gram briquettes of TNT; 27 fuses of the "KD" type; 2 barrels from a machine gun and a number of other ammunition. From the Manvel Grigorian mansion in Echmiadzin, located at 46 Alaverdyan Street, 79 rifles with factory numbers were confiscated; 39 pistols with factory numbers; 12 300 pieces of cartridges of different caliber. Dozens of certificates of ownership were also found in the mansion. During the search of Manvel Grigoryan's mansion, three vehicles were found with collections of modern high-priced cars, retro cars, motorcycles and snowmobiles. A number of off-road cars, provided for in the days of the four-day war for the Defense Army, and an ambulance were also found. They were donated to the Defense Army by representatives of the Armenian community of Russia, which Grigoryan designed for the names of his relatives and transported to his own vehicle fleet.
At the rest home of a deputy of the National Assembly there is also a zoo owning a tiger, bears, ostriches, and there is also an equestrian club. Based on the data obtained, it became clear that the foodstuffs provided for soldiers participating in the four-day April war, Manvel Grigoryan used to feed animals in his own zoo. "The investigation in the criminal case is ongoing, additional information will be provided about the process and the results," the National Security Service of Armenia said.
