The same situation has been registered in Belarus and Kyrgyzstan so the Eurasian Economic Commission has extended the deadline of introducing the e-passports in the countries of Eurasian Economic Union.
Thus, according to the statement of EEC traditional paper-based passports will be given for another half of year. ''According to preliminary data, the delay of introducing e-passports was caused by unreadiness of some countries of the EEU, as they did not have the special systems of electronic passports for vehicles. Particularly, such electorinc systmes, which should become common basis for the new passports, does not exist in Belarus, Armenia and Kyrgyrstan>, the statement reads.
