As press service of the RA Police reported, on June 11, a message was received in the police department of the city of Spitak that the head of the Jrashen community, contrary to his official interests, took advantage of the official position.
The department notes that it was found out that in 2011 Urusyan demanded and received a bribe to involve one family in the state project to provide homeless people who suffered from the 1988 earthquake. "It was also found out that in the decisions of the Jrashan community council, which were approved by Urusyan, the signatures of the non-members of the council were forged. Urusyan in 2015-2018 appointed for seasonal work as a guard in the community cemetery with a salary of about 60 thousand AMD his brother's wife who in fact, never went to workplace. On March 27, 2017, he brought to Armenia from Dubai a car "Lexus GX470" worth 5,000,000 AMD and gifted it to one citizen. Then, two months alter, using the official position, Urusyan bought the same car for 9,350,000 AMD to provide for the needs of the community, as a result of which the community's budget was damaged in an especially large amount - 4,350,000 AMD.
