Babloyan, greeting polish parliamentaries in the National Assembly, expressed confidence that the visit will help further deepen and develop friendly relations between the two countries.
The head of the parliament considers it necessary to maximize the rapprochement and revitalization of the interaction of deputy friendship groups.
Stressing the importance of such mutual visits and contacts, Babloyan warmly recalled last year's visit of his delegation to Poland, within the framework of which he took part in events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the RA and Poland, as well as the 650th anniversary of the Polish Armenian community.
The NA Speaker, highlighting the ratification of the RA-EU comprehensive and expanded partnership agreement by the Polish Sejm, expressed hope that the Senate of the republic will not slow down with the ratification of the document.
Speaking about the role of the Armenian community in Poland, Babloyan noted that Armenians, thanks to their dedication and hard work, received special treatment from the Polish authorities and make their significant contribution to the Armenian-Polish relations.
The head of the Polish-Armenian parliamentary friendship group, thanking the delegation for the warm welcome, stressed the importance of maximizing the deepening and expansion of cooperation between the two countries in various fields. According to him, there is still a significant untapped potential, especially in the economic sphere. Wozniak noted the constant sympathy and cordiality of the Poles towards Armenia and the Armenian people.
The head of the friendship group noted that he was impressed by the visit of the Armenian Genocide memorial. "It's sad and tragic, I hope the heads of state will do everything possible to prevent such crimes from now on," the Polish parliamentarian said.
Tadeusz Wozniak referring to the prospects and opportunities for deepening cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats within the framework of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Expanded Partnership Agreement, expressed readiness to assist Armenia and share its country's experience.
