ArmInfo. On June 8, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Italian Ambassador to Armenia Vincenzo del Monaco.
As the press service of the government reports, Pashinyan noted the importance of continued development of the Armenian-Italian cooperation and stressed that the new government of Armenia is full of energy for implementing all necessary steps. The prime minister deemed it necessary to develop closer ties between the two countries in various fields, including in the political, economic and cultural spheres.
The Ambassador of Italy expressed his confidence that in the course of joint work it will be possible to give a new impetus to the cooperation of the two states, which will also promote the expansion and deepening of trade and economic relations. The diplomat stressed that various Italian companies are interested in implementing investment programs in Armenia, especially in the field of industry, infrastructure and energy.
The sides also noted the importance of bilateral visits at a high level.
