ArmInfo. Minister of Education and Science of Armenia Araik Harutyunyan received US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Richard Mills. This was  reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia.

The Minister stressed the importance of developing relations with the  United States in the field of education. Concerning the issue of  granting earlier grants from the USA, Araik Harutyunyan noted that  some of them were not used effectively. Richard Mills, in turn, noted  that the development of the education sector is crucial for the  country's progress. The ambassador touched upon the programs funded  by the US government, at the same time expressed his readiness to  strengthen and expand support for the teaching of English and teacher  training in Armenia.
