ArmInfo.Since May 23, the Armenian police has been making changes in the policy of administrative responsibility for violations of traffic rules.
"In particular, in case of detection of a number of administrative offenses based on the article 21 of the law on administrative offenses, the offenders will be exempted from administrative responsibility. In addition, notice of exemption from administrative punishment, as well as fines, will be placed in the appropriate section web site of the RA Police www.police.am," the RA Police said.
At the same time, it is stressed that the amnesty concerns such violations as the stopping of the vehicle at the place where the distance between the vehicle and the solid line, dividing line or the opposite side of the carriageway is less than 3 m (art. 124 (21) of the RA Civil Code); stopping the vehicle at a distance of less than 5 meters from the edges of pedestrian crossings with the carriageway (art. 124 (21) of the RA Civil Code); stopping the vehicle in places where the distance from the stopped car and the crossed road is less than 5 meters (Article 124 of the Civil Aviation Code of RA); stopping the vehicle in places where the distance between the standing vehicle and the point of use of public means of transport or parking or route of the destination is less than 15 meters (art. 124, part 21 of the RA Civil Code); stopping the vehicle to expand the roadway, not parallel to the edge, if such stop is not allowed by marking or road marking (Article 124 (21) of the RA Civil Code); if the vehicle was stopped at the point of use of public means of transport during the night hours (after 23:00) (Article 124, part 1 of the RA Civil Code); if the vehicle crossed the dividing line not with all four wheels (art. 124 (1) of the RA Civil Code); if the vehicle crossed the road marking, islets, solid lines, etc. (crossing the crossing or crossing, etc.) (Article 124 (1) of the Civil Aviation Code of the Republic of Armenia).
Moreover, if a number of violations are detected by the Traffic Police, a verbal warning will be applied. It is a question of smoking the driver at the wheel (with the exception of public transport) (Article 135.2 (1) of the Civil Code of the Republic of Armenia); if the driver drove a car with the expired term of the technical passport of the vehicle, without fixing it in the place prescribed by law (art. 123.4, part 2 of the RA Civil Code); if the driver did not use the mortuary when changing the line of movement or maneuvering (art. 124 (12) of the RA Civil Code).
"In addition, in the settlements on the territory of Armenia, where speed limits below 60 km/h will stop working cameras that detect speed violations, and in areas with uncontrolled pedestrian crossings, the movement will be organized with artificial obstacles." The police of the Republic of Armenia hope that the policy shift in the field of administrative responsibility will increase the level of responsibility and law- abiding of our drivers, and the Traffic Police will no longer have to strengthen control over traffic safety, we inform that the Police of Armenia, in working order, has proposed to the RA Ministry of Justice to act as an intermediary in the RA government to initiate adoption of the amnesty law in the National Assembly, as a result of which the execution of administrative acts will be terminated from 01.01.2012 to 31.12.2017 and fines in the amount of 13.7 billion AMD will be canceled," the RA Police said in a statement.
