ArmInfo.. "We do not agree with Nikol Pashinyan that Armenia is a party to the Karabakh conflict, but we also believe that Artsakh should return to the negotiating table." A member of the Supreme Body of the ARF "Dashnaktsutyun", military expert Arthur Yeghiazaryan stated at a press conference on May 15.
Yeghiazaryan said that after the April war, in fact, there are no negotiations. According to the Dashnaktsakan, the situation after the April events has changed very much and the tension between the parties has increased. "We must do everything possible to bring Artsakh back to the negotiating table, as it is one of the parties to the conflict, I am sure that NKR participation in the negotiation process will contribute to a more constructive dialogue," the politician said.
Dashnaktskan also touched upon the Armenian-Turkish relations, stressing that their practical absence does not come from the interests of any of the countries. "However, the ARFD has always stated that the relations between the two countries should be established without preconditions, and on our part a huge concession is the fact that we do not put Anakra's recognition of the Armenian Genocide as a condition for normalizing relations with Turkey, however, setting various conditions, including by stipulating bilateral relations with the Karabakh settlement, that is, Turkey's demand is to resolve the Karabakh issue in internats of Azerbaijan, which is unacceptable for us. As long as Turkey does not change its position, of any meaningful negotiations can be no question ", - said Yeghiazaryan. Yeghiazaryan also stated that there are many contradictions between Armenia and Turkey. However, according to the Dashnaktsakan, they must be resolved during the negotiations.
