ArmInfo. Deputy Chairman of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) Levon Zurabyan and British Ambassador to Armenia Judith Farnworth discussed in detail the internal political situation in Armenia, as well as the prospects for its development.
According to the press service of the ANC, Zurabyan spoke about the approaches of their party, as well as the activities of the ANC to establish a long-term democracy in Armenia.
The parties discussed the upcoming extraordinary parliamentary elections, making necessary changes to the Electoral Code, moving to a proportional electoral system, excluding the use of electoral bribes and administrative resources during the elections, as well as delimiting the system of state administration and business. The interlocutors touched upon the geopolitical aspects of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as possible challenges in the aggravation of the situation. Zurabyan and Farnworth in hakkucheniya discussed the Armenian-British relations.
