ArmInfo. Iran is our neighbor, and we plan to develop our relations, so we are very concerned about the latest developments around this country. The best way to resolve  differences is the negotiation process. This was stated at the press conference in Artsakh on May 9 by the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.

The Prime Minister also noted that he intends to further develop  Armenia's relations with the European Union. "We hope that the  agreement between Armenia and the EU will be ratified in the near  future," Pashinyan said.

Touching upon the Armenian-Russian relations, he said that yesterday  he had a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin, which was  constructive and sincere. "We agreed to continue this conversation on  May 14 in Sochi during the EAEU summit," Pashinyan stressed.

The premier added that he had previously stated that the  Armenian-Russian strategic relations should deepen and develop.  Cooperation between the two countries should also be strengthened in  such structures as the EAEU and CSTO. "Of course, we must help ensure  that our membership in these structures becomes more effective. I  mean the increase in trade turnover, so that the citizens of Armenia  also feel a new level of development of our country's economy. In  Armenian-Russian relations, we expect only positive developments,  "Pashinian said.

Continuing the theme of the country's foreign policy, Pashinyan also  noted that Armenia is ready to establish diplomatic relations with  Turkey, however, without any preconditions. "As you know,  preconditions are always put forward by Turkey. However, as you  understand, Ankara's demand is illogical, because this condition  concerns a third country. We continue to stick to our position, and  are ready to establish relations without preconditions. In addition,  we consider it important that the international community recognizes  the Armenian Genocide. I want to note that the international  recognition of the Armenian Genocide is more connected with the need  for further prevention of genocides than with the Armenian-Turkish  relations, "the RA Prime Minister concluded.
