The candidacy of Nikol Pashinyan as the Prime Minister of Armenia was rejected by the National Assembly on the eve of the night - 56 deputies from the Republican Party faction voted against him, 45 from the ARF Dashnaktsutyun factions and the Yelk and Tsarukyan blocs. There were no abstentions. ARF member Aghvan Vardanyan did not vote at all. Note that the next meeting on the candidacy of the prime minister will take place in 7 days. If the prime minister is not elected a second time, then, according to the Constitution, the parliament breaks up and new elections are appointed.
