ArmInfo.The first and symbolic decree of the leader of the "Make a step" movement Nikolay Pashinyan, if elected to the post of Prime Minister of Armenia, will be the ban of the sensational law on the holding of the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers sittings behind closed doors.
Pashinyan himself stated this during the rally. He expressed conviction that all meetings of Government should be open. The oppositionist added that he will do it, if there is no legislative delay. Today, at 17:00 local time, from the capital square of Garegin Nzhdeh started a march to the Republic Square, where at 19:00 there will be an opposition rally. Pashinyan at the rally will talk about the results of the morning meetings with representatives of parliamentary factions. To note, on May 1, the elections of the Prime Minister of the country will be held in the parliament. The only candidate so far announced for the premiership is Nikol Pashinyan, who was nominated by the parliamentary faction "Elk". "Tsarukyan" bloc and ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" stated that they will support Pashinyan's candidacy. The Republican Party stated that it would not nominate its candidate for the premiership, but promised not to hinder Pashinyan's election to the premiere. The RPA has not yet officially announced how the party will vote in these elections.
