Oppositionists proclaimed a new slogan: "Reject Serzh and Karen". Meanwhile, the police sealed the approaches to the RPA building on Malik-Adamyan street with barbed wire, several BTRs were fitted. The police also blocked some approaches to Baghramyan street, where the residence of the prime minister and the parliament building are located. According to Pashinyan, the ruling elite believes that it can replace one Republican leader with another, and, thus, retain power. But, as the oppositionist noted, "the people are not so naive."
The leader of the opposition movement touched upon the words of Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan that the head of the government can not be chosen on the street, since this action is not provided by law that this should be within the law. Pashinyan noted: "Karen Karapetyan did not understand well what we said: the head of the government should be elected in the National Assembly, according to the law, he should be nominated by the faction, and before that the people in the square should give their consent."
Earlier ArmInfo reported that Tsarukyan and Pashinyan agreed that the "Tsarukyan" bloc in the parliament will vote for the candidacy of Nikol Pashinyan.
Recall that today the students of the Yerevan universities continued their strike. Students of Vanadzor State University, who, marching through the streets of the city, call on students from other universities, as well as fellow citizens to join the pre-movement movement, joined them. At the moment, supporters of the protest movement blocked the road from Aparan to Yerevan.
