ArmInfo. The future national government of Armenia does not intend to carry out personnel genocide. The leader of the protest movement, head of the Yelk parliamentary faction Nikol Pashinyan stated at a press conference in Yerevan on April 24.
According to him, literate educated people work in most government structures, especially the middle level. Moreover, many of them were simply forced to join the ruling Republican Party. Now they will have a chance to serve not the interests of the RPA, but the interests of the Republic of Armenia.
Pashinyan stressed that one of the main issues on the agenda of the future government will be the fight against corruption, which will be slightly different from the program to combat this evil in Georgia. A decisive fight against corruption will become a pledge to attract investment. "The Armenian Diaspora, inspired by our revolution, is now ready to make serious investments in the economy of its historic homeland. The program for attracting investments is available, and it will be implemented, "Pashinyan said.
Speaking about the possibility of the country's exit from the Eurasian Economic Union, the oppositionist stressed that "now is not the time for this." In addition, he continued, such issues should be resolved through a referendum. "Nevertheless, we will not undertake sharp geopolitical movements against various international organizations," said Nikol Pashinyan.
