ArmInfo. The criticism of the parliamentary oppositionists was not to the liking of the Prime Minister of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan - he advised them to get rid of the complexes.
"I will give you some advice, your business is to accept them or not - first, get rid of complexes, hear what they tell you, it will do you good. Do not speak for the people, you do not have this right, on behalf of the people. Only the parliamentary majority can speak, and third, make an effort - return your friend from the street (organizer of the recent rallies, MP Nikol Pashinyan.) The bloodshed does not come from anyone's interests, you think that the seizure of the buildings of state is peaceful actions, this is your opinion. Get rid of complexes, return to the constructive channel," Sargsyan said, referring to the deputies from the opposition bloc "Elk" who subjected him to harsh criticism in the parliament.
He did not agree with the criticism of the opposition MPs, arguing that this "amateur" criticism is aimed at denigrating the authorities and the ruling party: "We won two wars, experienced two international economic crises, and established our positions on the world stage. In order to have an enlightened and a prosperous country, we must make sure that the sleeping volcanoes do not wake up, and for this we should take care for them."
Nevertheless, he thanked the "Elk" bloc for activating parliamentarism, the leadership of the National Assembly for good work, and especially the "Tsarukyan" bloc, which "is not guided by the principle - since we are opposition, then we are always against." "You always, first of all, are guided by the state interests, that's why your criticism is very important for us," the president assured, calling on all the forces of the National Assembly, including the opposition to vote for him as a sign of respect for the parliamentary majority.
Nevertheless, out of 94 voted 17 deputies were against Serzh Sargsyan - 5 from the "Elk" bloc and 12 from the "Tsarukyan" bloc.
