ArmInfo.Leader of the "Make a step" movement, opposition MP Nikol Pashinyan calls on the participants of the protest to go to the Republic Square, where the next rally will be held at 18:30.
The opposition MP stressed that in the ranks of the protesters there are provocateurs and one must be extremely cautious, and not succumb to provocations.
According to him, the police do not have the right to use force against peaceful demonstrators and it is necessary to adhere to the taken course of the peaceful rally in order not to justify the authorities' hopes through provocations to organize clashes between police and participants of the rally.
Yerkir Tsirani leader Zaruhi Postanjyan, who yesterday condemned the use of special means by the police and force against peaceful demonstrators, is among the protesters.
Earlier, Pashinyan announced the beginning of a non-violent velvet revolution in Armenia. He stressed that through protest actions, paralyzing the activities of state structures, they intend to achieve their goal and carry out a revolution in the country. At the moment, a new prime minister is elected in parliament. The only candidate nominated by the Republican Party of Armenia is Serzh Sargsyan.
