ArmInfo. Participants of the opposition procession, moving along the central streets of Yerevan, reached the Public Radio building of Armenia and, despite the protests of the guards, entered the building. Climbing the stairs, the opposition broke the door of one of the studios. Nevertheless, the leader of the movement, MP Nikol Pashinyan constantly calls on his associates not to resort to violent actions. Then Pashinyan demanded live broadcast.
Responding to the protests of the security official, Pashinyan asked for his forgiveness for the inconvenience, but stressed that the oppositionists are fighting for the liberation of the people from the captivity of Serzh Sargsyan, and the policeman is also the son of the people. "So we are fighting for your release," he said.
He called the Director of Public Radio Mark Grigoryan, demanding live broadcast, stressing that in this way he wants to express his protest to Serzh Sargsyan on privatization of the media field on his part. At that moment, the deputy director of Radio, Lika Tumanian came to the oppositionist, indignant, why the oppositionists broke the door. Pashinyan promised to compensate for the damage. Further, Tumanyan offered live broadcast, but at 19.00, so as not to violate the established schedule of work. "We have never deprived anyone of the right to vote," Tumanyan assured. However, Pashinyan did not agree, saying: "Here and now." The gathered began to chant: "Live, live broadcast."
