ArmInfo. Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan during the meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on April 7 last time as the head of the Cabinet  reported on the results of the government's activities, stressing  that all the macro tasks set before the government have been  fulfilled. ArmInfo was informed about this in the press service of   the Armenian leader.  Sargsyan and Karapetyan also touched upon  long-term programs for the development of the country's economy,  which were regularly discussed during the meetings with the  president, and for which the Republican Party of Armenia took  responsibility.

"Mr. Prime Minister, on Monday the ceremony of inauguration of the  President-elect of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sargsyan will take  place.On our Constitution, the President of the Republic is obliged  to accept the resignation of the government, thus the process of  transition to the parliamentary system of government in Armenia is  coming to an end, which means that in This is the last time we meet  this meeting, and I would like to take this opportunity to express my  gratitude to you for your good work and friendship, and I want you to  convey this gratitude to the members of the government too. the  results of this stage, then it should be said that after September  2016 the government made great efforts and was very good at using the  domestic political stability established in Armenia after the  parliamentary elections in terms of developing our economy. We have  gone a very good way for this period, but we must also take into  account that during the parliamentary elections our party received  the mandate of people's confidence, and that this mandate of forming  the government will belong to the RPA until 2022. And this means that  the responsibility for the development of the country will be  assigned to the Republican Party of Armenia, and, what to say, first  of all, to us: to me - as the chairman of the party, to you - as the  first deputy chairman of the party. It is clear that the members of  the executive body are responsible, the members of the Republican  Party Council, our territorial structures are responsible, but here,  of course, we are talking about individual responsibility. And we,  undoubtedly, are obliged to continue the advance that is now  available.  The results of 2017 are, of course, good, but over the  past year, we have also outlined numerous plans, made numerous  promises, and our efforts should be aimed specifically at continuing  this advancement. I am sure that our party will approach with full  responsibility to these obligations, as well as to rights, because  where there are rights, there is responsibility. So, we still have a  lot to do. Of course, within the next week we in the party will  thoroughly discuss how we will achieve these indicators. In general,  we will talk about our vision of the country's development. But, as I  said, before that, I ask to convey my gratitude to the members of the  government, "Sargsyan said.

In his turn, Karapetyan expressed his gratitude to Sargsyan for the  trust and joint work, assured that all preconditions for future  thorough and profound reforms in the coming years are created.  "Briefly summarizing, I want to say that all the macro-tasks that you  set before us have been fulfilled, this period and the work was very  interesting and creative.The team has an internal agreement and in  some ways satisfaction.I am very grateful and touched by your  assessment. I would like to take this opportunity to express my  gratitude for the offer to me to accept the post of prime minister,  for trust and joint work and the formation of a working atmosphere of  mutual trust.In fact, today formed and formulated those horizons and  tasks that We must reach the team today.Today, the team clearly  understands it.The plans for your initiative and the program 2030,  and the goals that we need to achieve, in fact, we must record that  they are very ambitious, feasible. This will require, of course,  diligent, consistent work and we see the gradient and the directions  that we should go forward in. I think we are waiting for an  interesting period.In the next three to four years, according to our  forecasts, we will have certain economic successes that will give us  the basis for realizations It is long-term, fundamental, far-reaching  reforms.
