ArmInfo. The delegation, headed by the chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh Ashot Ghulyan, visited the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Paris. After a brief conversation with Ambassador Vigen Chitechyan, the Speaker of the Parliament met with the members of the Armenian Union "In Support of Karabakh" in France.
Ashot Ghulyan delivered a speech on the 30th anniversary of the Karabakh movement and the process of state building in Artsakh over the years, focusing on achievements and plans in the sphere of security, foreign policy and economic development. "The Artsakh liberation movement helped Armenians find their identity, and now it is necessary to help Artsakh preserve this identity," the chairman of the parliament resumed.
Then Ashot Ghulyan answered the questions of the meeting participants regarding economic potential, international recognition of Artsakh, events dedicated to Artsakh Days in France, efficiency of decentralized cooperation, export and import. During the meeting, the chairman of the Artsakh parliament expressed gratitude to the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Vigen Chitechyan and awarded a commemorative medal to the 30th anniversary of the Karabakh movement in connection with the completion of the diplomatic mission in France.
On April 5, a meeting with the deputies of the Senate and the National Assembly of France and the members of the France-Artsakh Friendship Circle is planned in Paris.
