ArmInfo.The Ministry of Emergencies of Armenia published a list of victims, as a result of an explosion in the BurgerKing fast food cafe in the center of Yerevan.
As ArmInfo earlier reported, three Russian citizens, three Armenian citizens and two Iranians were injured as a result of the incident.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, according to preliminary data, Rudolf Markosyan (6 years old), Rubina Markosyan (8 years old), Zaruhi Melikyan (19 years old), Erik Ashugyan (24, citizen of Iran), Alena Agapova (15 years old, Russia), Lisa Abrahamova (15 years old, RF), Yaroslav Lubenko (15 years old, Russian Federation), Zeyna Hesini (24 years old, IRI).
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health of Armenia reported that all victims had received the necessary medical care. As a result of the explosion in the cafe, 8 people were hospitalized in the Medical center of Grigor Lusavorich. The condition of one of the injured, an 8-year-old girl, doctors assess as difficult, the rest - stable.
In his turn, the Head of Information and Public Relations Department Colonel Ashog Aharonyan told reporters that a special investigation team is working on the site of the explosion to find out all the circumstances of the incident. According to him, according to preliminary data, an oxygen tank exploded. Aharonyan also stressed that the final information about the incident will be provided after the results of the examination are known. A criminal case was opened on the fact.
As previously reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, the explosion occurred on April 2 in the area of 20:44 hours local time at Severny Prospekt 5, in the Center of Yerevan. According to preliminary data, a gas cylinder exploded. As a result of the incident, eight people were injured.
