ArmInfo. Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan received the Russian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volynkin, who is completing the diplomatic mission in our country.
According to the press service of the Armenian Government, at the beginning of the meeting Karapetyan expressed his condolences to Volynkin, in connection with the tragedy in Kemerovo.
At the same time, the Armenian Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for fruitful work and cooperation. According to him, the personal contribution of the Ambassador in the development and strengthening of bilateral relations is valuable. "I must say that today we have unique relations with Russia, but this does not mean that we must give up, especially if we take into account that we have a wide field for activities and we need to keep any friendship a permanent job," Karapetyan said.
In turn, Volynkin noted that it was a great honor for him to work in friendly Armenia and contribute to the development of Armenian-Russian friendly relations. "I want to express my gratitude for the interaction and warm relations, I leave Armenia with mixed feelings, because I feel at home here." I am sure that after the departure the connection with Armenia will remain, " Volynkin said.
