ArmInfo. The Standing Committee on Political Affairs and International Cooperation of the CSTO PA, which met on March 29 in St. Petersburg, adopted a resolution on the potential threat to collective security in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The document, in particular, notes: "The Commission expresses its concern over the situation in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and calls to refrain from any statements and actions that lead to an escalation of tension in the region .. The Commission reaffirms the CSTO's commitment exclusively to a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno- conflict, expressed in the statement of the CSC of November 30, 2017, and joins the support of the heads of the CSTO member states of the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group Co- Chairs for the settlement of Nagoya but-Karabakh conflict based on the norms and principles of international law, the UN Charter and the Helsinki Final Act, concerning in particular the non-use of force or threat of force, territorial integrity, equality and the right of peoples to self-determination."
