ArmInfo. Strongest winds are expected in Armenia on March 24- 25. This is reported by Armhydrometc.
The reason for this, according to the department, is that warm air masses penetrating into Armenia collide with cold air currents over the Black Sea. "As a result, a powerful front is being formed, under the influence of which winds will be observed on the territory of Armenia from March 24 until noon on March 25, the speed of which can be dangerous," the ministry said.
Gusts of wind in Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Gegharkunik, Syunik and Artsakh can reach 30-35 meters per second, in Kotayk, Armavir, Aragatsotn, Ararat, Vayots Dzor and Yerevan - 20-25 meters per second. The air temperature on March 24 will rise by 4-5 degrees, 25-26 will decrease as much, and on March 27-28 again will rise by 3-4 degrees. These days, rain and thunder are also expected.
