ArmInfo. Between Armenia and Iran, whose relations are more than two thousand years, a stable political dialogue has been formed, constant visits are being made.
This was stated in an interview with the publication of L'Express, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, who is on a visit to France. He stressed that Iran has always maintained a neutral stance on Nagorno-Karabakh, despite the fact that Azerbaijan is trying to use the factor of religious community.
"Relations with Iran are positive, which once again underscores the fact that Armenia respects its neighbors and their culture," Sargsyan said, stressing that the July 2015 agreement on Iran's nuclear program is absolutely constructive. He recalled that France supports these agreements, as clearly announced by President Macron.
