ArmInfo. Armenian Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan discussed with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Armenia Timur Urazaev the prospects for deepening cooperation between the two countries in the criminal and legal sphere, both in bilateral and multilateral formats.
The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office told ArmInfo that the need to increase the effectiveness of the identification and transfer of persons avoiding the investigation, in accordance with established procedures, especially within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union and under conditions of free movement of electronic services and people, was particularly emphasized.
Highly appreciating the partnership relations between Armenia and Kazakhstan in different spheres, the sides touched upon a number of issues that are of mutual interest, including mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, and closer cooperation in the fight against crime.
