ArmInfo. The public organizations of Armenia will have the opportunity to be reorganized. Amendments to the Civil Code and a package of accompanying laws were introduced by the Armenian parliament at a meeting on January 16 in the second and final reading.
According to Hrayr Tovmasyan, one of the authors of the presented package, the deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, in some organizations there are currently no previous founders, and the requirement to present an act carries problems, including for such organizations as the Union of Communities, the Football Federation and etc.
With the adoption of a package of laws, this problem will be solved, and public organizations will have the opportunity for an unhindered reorganization within two days. In addition, the requirement to mandatory election of the general director by the general assembly of the NGO is also excluded, which will also allow resolving issues of public organizations promptly.
