ArmInfo. Researchers need to study the monuments of the Kypchak language, which are in Armenia, on a scientific and methodological basis. The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Armenia Timur Urazaev expressed this opinion during a briefing in Astana, Kazinform reports.
<In Armenia there is such a unique museum and at the same time a scientific research institute <Matenadaran>. The museum is an institute of ancient manuscripts, in which 10-12 thousand different kinds of manuscripts are stored according to various estimates. There are preserved monuments of writing of the Kypchak language. These are texts in the Kypchak language written by Armenian graphics," said Timur Urazaev.
He noted that, judging by the research, in some areas of Armenia there was a significant period of life of the Kypchak tribes, and the study of the surviving monuments can reveal more complete information about these events.
"There are different names, they say, Kypchak Armenians, Armenian Kypchaks. First of all, we are talking, probably, about the fragments of the Kypchak tribes who, after a devastating war with the Mongol-Tatars, settled not only in the Armenian Highland, but also in the Volga region and even in Southern Ukraine. At the same time, we are talking about those Armenians who, due to trade and economic ties with the Polovtsi, became carriers of this Kypchak language. Therefore, this issue should be taken seriously on a scientific and methodological basis," said T. Urazaev.
