Russia imposed an embargo on the supply of a number of products from Turkey January 2016 in response to the attack of the Turkish Air Force on the Russian Su-24 in Syria. The ban on the supply of tomatoes from Turkey to Russia was the most long - it lasted 1 year and 10 months. On Monday "Rosselkhoznadzor" allowed from 1 November imports of tomatoes from three Turkish enterprises previously inspected by the Russian department.
