ArmInfo. Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received a delegation of the Iraqi parliament headed by Abdelbari Zebari, chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Council of Representatives of the Republic of Iraq.
As the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry told ArmInfo, Nalbandian highly appreciated the active partnership established between the parliamentarians of Armenia and Iraq, which is constantly developing and being filled with new content.
Zebari noted that parliamentary diplomacy occupies an exclusive place in the further development of bilateral relations.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda, noting that the current high level of political relations provides an opportunity to expand and deepen bilateral cooperation in trade and economic, scientific, educational, cultural, tourist and other areas.
The interlocutors touched upon the implementation of the agreements reached at a high level, creating a favorable atmosphere for stimulating business cooperation, expanding the regulatory framework.
