ArmInfo.Microsoft Innovation Center with the assistance of Beeline in Armenia launched the contest of innovative ideas and programming "Hackathon" in the  Center for Creative Technologies "Tumo". As the press service of  Beeline told ArmInfo, the purpose of this competition is to stimulate  the interest of creative youth in using the opportunities of modern  technologies and submitting ideas for digital and innovative  solutions.

As the main direction of Hackathon, the use of Big Data is chosen for  the development of various solutions for the telecommunications  sphere. Of the 40 teams that submitted applications, 25 have been  selected, who will develop experimental versions of the solutions  within 24 hours and submit them for evaluation to specialists. The  jury will select two best designs, taking as criteria the scope of  the work completed in 24 hours, the innovative nature of the idea and  the degree of practical applicability.

"We, as representatives of the telecommunications sphere, are very  interested in its innovative solutions, which help us to provide  modern, interesting and useful services to subscribers. Of course,  this is not a one- day job, and our company is constantly working on  innovative solutions. I am happy to see so many young people  interested in innovative technologies and full charge of new ideas at  this contest, which is what we strive to stimulate in youth, and we  are sure that this will change the life in the countries" said  Beeline general director Andrey Pyatakhin, adding that this year the  youth showed much greater interest in the contest, and the quality of  the ideas presented by the teams was much higher.
