ArmInfo.In the case of theft of property in SNCO <Yerevan State University of Languages and Social Sciences after Bryusov> a criminal case has been opened.
The inspections of the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia in the university showed that in December 2016, as a result of the annual inventory, a shortfall in property was made for the amount of 30,209.096.9 AMD.
According to the press service of the Armenian Prosecutor General's Office, it was also established that from 2009 to 2015 the university's authorized officials conducted an inventory of the missing property with violations of the rules for the accounting of legal acts, which led to the concealment of this crime for several years.
Considering that the shortfall of 30,209.096.9 AMD seems to have been stolen or appropriated, which is a crime defined as embezzlement on a particularly large scale, the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia instituted criminal proceedings under articles 179 and 315 of the RA Criminal Code, which were sent for investigation to the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
