ArmInfo. The first president of Armenia, the leader of the Armenian National Congress, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, discussed with the head of the OSCE/ODIHR Michael Link issues concerning elections and post-election processes in the republic.
Ter-Petrosyan, in particular, noted that falsified elections are an obstacle to the development of Armenia. He also stressed that the Armenian authorities have developed special mechanisms for electoral fraud, to which the international community does not always adequately respond.
Regarding constitutional reforms, the first president stressed that they contain anti-democratic provisions and points aimed at strengthening individual power.
