ArmInfo. Russian border control again arrested citizen of Angola Donegal Bob Joe, who tries to cross Armenian state border illegally.  

According to Border Service of the Federal Security Service of the  Russian Federation press service, on June 17 this year in the village  of Araksavan, located in close proximity to the state border, a  member of the voluntary people's squad noticed an unknown man who  asked questions to villagers in English. "The appearance of an  unknown person caused reasonable suspicion among the villager, and he  immediately informed the employees of the Frontier Department of the  FSS of Russia in RA about this fact, in addition, employees of the  territorial department of the National Security Service and the  police of Armenia were notified. After checking the documents of a  suspicious man, it turned out that he was a citizen of Angola Donegal   Bob Joe, born in 1982. He had, in addition to the passport, documents  certifying his refugee status in France and a certificate of release  from places of detention in the territory of the Republic of Armenia,  "the department's message reads. 

At that, it is stressed that during the survey it became known that  Donegal  Bob Joe was serving a sentence for illegally crossing the  state border from Turkey to Armenia. "After his release from prison,  he bought an air ticket on the route Yerevan-Paris, but because of  the lack of necessary documents to cross the state border, he could  not fly. After that, he began to look for other ways of leaving for  France. According to him, he had no intention of repeating his  attempts to illegally cross the state border of Armenia.   Representatives of law enforcement bodies of Armenia decided to  transfer Donegal Bob Joe to the French Embassy in due course. The  management of the Border Guard Agency expresses gratitude to the  local residents of Armenia, who along with the border guards are  guarding the tranquility on the state border, "the PC said.

To recall, citizen of Angola Donegal  Bob Joe on June 15, 2016,  officers of the Frontier Department of the FSS of Russia in Armenia  detained for attempting to illegally cross the Turkish-Armenian state  border. The intruder crossed the border river Araks, and then  overcame the signaling complex and several tens of meters moved along  the border, trying to "cover up the tracks." After some time, the  intruder made an attempt to go deeper into the territory of Armenia.  Local residents, who are members of the voluntary people's squad, saw  the unknown and promptly reported to the frontier post. Thus, as a  result of coordinated actions of enterprising citizens in the area of  the village of Yervandashat, the violator of the state border was  detained.
