ArmInfo.Armenian Parliament's Chairman Ara babloyan during the meeting with Russia's Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Valynkin stressed the importance of Armenian- Russian allied relations.
As the parliamentary press service told ArmInfo, Babloyan touched upon various spheres of interstate cooperation and stressed the Armenian-Russian interparliamentary relations, noting that Interparliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the two Parliaments will continue its productive activites.
Babloyan noted the important role of Russian Embassy in the strengthening of Armenian-Russian relations. On behalf of the newly formed Armenian Parliament he expressed readiness to cooperation with the Embassy, supporting deeper connections between the friendly peoples.
In his turn, Volynkin noted the importance of the current level of interparliamentary relations in the Armenian-Russian agenda.
According top Volynkin, historically friendly states must develop connections in all spheres, continuing the cooperation also in the international structures.
Volynkin touched upon active cooperation within the EEU, stressing the importance of harmonized code of the two states.
In the end of the meeting the sides discussed the details of the upcoming official visit of Babloyan to Moscow.
