ArmInfo. The latest statement by the Armenian activist Vahan Martirosyan who asked Azerbaijan for political asylum is another stage of the Azerbaijani special services, quite predictable and expected. Such an opinion was expressed by Deputy Institute of Caucasus Sergey Minasyan in his conversation with ArmInfo correspondent, referring to Martirosyan's speech, in which he criticizes the Platform of Peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
"I think this is a cheap and ineffective propaganda action. Initially, as an expert, I was not interested in all this excitement that developed around Martirosyan's actions, "the political expert said. At the same time, he added that everything quietly turns into a farce, around which the Armenian propagandists will begin to savor, and Azerbaijani will worry.
The day before, Armenian public figure Vahan Martirosyan, who fled to Baku, made a video message touching the so-called Peace Platform between Armenia and Azerbaijan. "The time has come to expose the next lie of Azerbaijani propaganda and Aliyev regime. With the help of this manipulation, official Baku tries once again to have international community going, to us - Armenians and its people, covering up the essence of the aggressor, which incites hatred towards Armenians. Since the inception, this pseudo platform was in my hands, and I sincerely believed that its existence could contribute to the achievement of peace between the two nations. However, I, and a few more Armenians, became witnesses of Baku domestic horrible situation, quickly saw that the main goal of this project and the so-called policy of tolerance of official Baku was just a concealment of the real dictatorial behavior of the aggressor, and this so-called peace platform has nothing to do with the people of Azerbaijan and the society of this country. It was originally created and directed by Azn's government and special services, and some public figures attracted to it by public figures are just pawns that fulfill the order of the authorities, "Vahan Martirosyan said in a video message.
