Edmon Marukyan: Yelk did not appeal election results because of  absence of proofs

ArmInfo.Pre electoral Yelk bloc did not appeal the results of parliamentary elections because of absence of proofs on falsification, Edmon Marukyan, Deputy of the  bloc stated during his interview with Svoboda  radio.

"We do not have proof base to request Constitutional Court. We will  never appeal a request which will be empty and will not have legal  basis?, he noted, adding that he bloc is not satisfied with the  results of elections.

Marukyan also thinks that the bloc could keep all the votes received  for their candidate. At that, Marukyan thinks that all falsifications  were done out of the polling stations.

To mention, yesterday CEC reviewed the appropriate application    submitted by the bloc, comprising 120 pages, but rejected it due to  the unavailability of elections falsifications proofs.  Earlier  ANC-PPA presented application to the CEC on declaring April 2  parliamentary elections results invalid in view of all- round  violations of electoral legislation, massive bribery to citizens, and  wide use of administrative resources to the good of the ruling party.   The bloc promised to present correspondent application to the  Armenian CC.

To note, according to CEC data 1 mln 575 thousand citizens   (60.93%)from 2. 587.706 took part in the elections. The Parliament   will have 105 lawmakers. The ruling Republican Party of Armenia  receives 58 mandates, three from which representatives of national   minorities (Assyrian, Kurds and Yezid), Tsaroukyan bloc 31 mandates,   1 representative from Russian community, Yelk-9, ARFD Dashnaktsutyun  7 mandates.  Pre electoral bloc ANC-PPA did not enter the Parliament,   as it received only 1.65% votes.
