ArmInfo. The candidate from Tsarukyan Bloc, Miqael Melkumyan promises to increase the pensions and minimal salary by 25.000 AMD, if the Bloc comes to power.
According to him, "Tsarukyan" Bloc intends to implement its program through mining industry. ?Mining industry in Armenia, despite the fluctuations in the cost of ore, receives huge excess profits, but a meager tax is paid to the treasury. While the SMB representatives pay taxes amounting 1% to 5%, Big business pays only 6.6%. Is it fair? We intend to change this situation. The second direction is the bank system. The taxes of bank amount only 3%, $ 34 mln while they have profit of 8-10%, and their common turnover amounts about $ 2.3 billion", said Melkumyan on March 30, during a press conference in Yerevan.
Speaking in general about the pre-electoral campaign of his bloc, he said that it was implemented on a very high level. ?I myself visited 75 villages and communities in all administrative quarters of Yerevan. And I want to disprove the rumors that in regions there is no interest in elections?, said the politic.
Touching upon the promises of Gagik Tsarukyan on attracting investments amounting $ 15 billion, Melkumyan noted that the offers were received after the start of electoral campaign. ?Why there are no investments now? Because there is no trust, there are no guarantees as the inner market of the republic is in monopoly and we are ready to create conditions for new investments?, Melkumyan said.
He also informed that in case of Bloc's victory, Gagik Tsarukyan will offer his candidacy for the Prime Minister position. ?My personal opinion is that the Gagik Tsarukyan must be head of the state since April 2018?, Melkumyan resumed.
