A look from Moscow: The recession in Russia of Trump`s euphoria  allowed Russia-US relations to return to normal state

ArmInfo. The step by step decline in Russia of the initial euphoria of Donald Trump allowed the relations between Russia and the United States to return to normal  state. This opinion was expressed to ArmInfo by the chief editor of  the magazine "Russia in Global Politics" political analyst Fyodor  Lukyanov.

"From the very beginning, I did not see any special reasons for  expecting any radical changes, since the norm of US-Russian relations  is determined by one particular circumstance: the presence of nuclear  parity", he said.

Calling to look at the history of Soviet-American and  Russian-American relations, the analyst, in this context, noted the  complete absence of changes in this trajectory. According to his  estimates, the trajectory up and down is absolutely the same. And the  pendulum of Russian-American relations can swing in the opposite  direction at any moment.

"The content of these relations does not depend on personalities,  does not depend on sides that are currently in power in Washington  and Moscow. Trump is certainly a very bright politician, but he does  not change the system. Other question that while the new president of  the US does not know, what to do, how to behave with Russia.  "However, the same statement applies to his policies in other areas",  the analyst resumed.
