According to him, 2017 is a jubilee for the Armenian-Russian relations. "We celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. These years were a period of close cooperation, and we reached the truth in allied relations. The nature of such relations always dictates the agenda. Mr Putin, I am sure that our meeting today will be substantial, and will be held in an atmosphere of complete mutual trust", Sargsyan said.
To note, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan is on an official visit to Russia on March 14-15. He delivered a lecture at MSUIR, and a meeting scheduled for March 14 with the head of the Russian Government head Dmitry Medvedev did not take place because of the latter's illness.
