ArmInfo. The leader of the Tsarukyan bloc Gigik Tsarukyan apprehended the appeal of the head of the Central Electoral Commission Tigran Mukuchyan to refrain from pre-election material promises by an obstacle to his campaign.
"Mukuchyan does not allow to meet with the people and help them, but I will do it after April 2. He says it is a bribe, but I do not do such things. There can not be at least one person who asked for help and did not receive. I know about your problems and try to solve them", he promised again.
According to tradition, Tsarukyan told Vardenis voters his own way from a poor man to a wealthy entrepreneur. After that, he spoke about his position on the socio-economic problems existing in the country and ways of their solution. In particular, Tsarukyan considers it necessary to export environmentally friendly Armenian products to the Arab countries, where, he said, there is nothing but tourists.
To note, earlier, the Armenian Central Election Commission warned Tsarukyan to refrain from pre-election financial and material promises to voters. In particular, commenting on the promise of Tsarukyan to Tavush residents to accept grapes for 150 AMD, to provide agricultural equipment, to carry gas to the houses. Mukuchyan said that this was a violation of the law. "We have already warned that the bloc refrained from repeating this, otherwise the CEC will initiate appropriate proceedings, take measures prescribed by the Electoral Code", he said.
To note, the EC prohibits Parties in the course of election campaigning to give or promise to voters gratuitously or on preferential terms money, products, goods or provision of any services. Despite this, Tsarukyan again began to make promises of material nature during the agitation in the Armavir region, in particular, he promised the inhabitants of one village after the elections to present the combine harvester.
