ArmInfo.Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met in Munich with the UK Minister of State for Europe and the Americas Alan Duncan, and Secretary General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
As Foreign Ministry's press service told ArmInfo, Nalbandian and Duncan discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda. The sides noted the importance of mutual visits, holding regular consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
The Armenian Foreign Minister presented to Alan Duncan the current situation as a result of the April aggression by Azerbaijan against Karabakh. Nalbandian noted the damage caused to the process of peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict, as well as the efforts made by Armenia and co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group to resolve the issue.
During the conversation berween Edward Nalbandian and Secretary General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the sides spoke on the issue of cooperation between Armenia and the Arab countries, while noting the traditionally warm and friendly nature of the Armenian-Arab relations.
The sides exchanged views on the events occurring in the Middle East, the efforts made towards the settlement of the Syrian crisis. They also spoke about the international community's antiterrorist activities.
