ArmInfo. The National Accord Party has taken a decision to run in the parliamentary elections as part of the Tsarukyan bloc.
The Pan-Armenian National Movement has taken a similar decision, though the Board of the party has not reached full consensus on that matter. Ex-foreign minister of Armenia Alexander Arzumanyan, ex- ambassador David Hovhannisyan think it is inexpedient to run in the elections as part of the specified bloc. Therefore, they decided not to run in the elections. Only the leader of the party, Ararat Zurabyan, will run in the Center community of Yerevan on the ranked list. The party will also provide the Tsarukyan bloc with a proportional list comprising 10 people.
Earlier, Alliance and Mission parties announced their intention to join the Tsarukyan bloc. Gagik Tsarukyan himself has not yet reacted to the statements on consolidation of these forces around his bloc.
Ramkavar Azatakan Party, Hunchakyan Party, Prosperous Armenia Party and Unity Movement are also going to join the bloc.
The ranked list of the bloc will include such figures as Sergey Hovjannisyan (aka Cadillac Serozh), ex- mayor of Gyumri Vardan Ghukasyan (aka Vardanik), ex-lawmaker from the Republican Party of Armenia Hakob Hakobyan (aka Tshoyt), scandalous lawmaker Zorik Zohrabyan (aka Jimmi), ex head of Arabkir community of Yerevan Hovik Shahinyan, lawmaker Mher Sedrakyan's son David Sedrakyan, and Tsarukyan's son-in-law, mayor of Artashat Argam Abrahamyan.
