ArmInfo.On Feb 3, as of 11 am, some roads in Armenia were heavy going. The press office of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations has told ArmInfo that due to the heavy snow, the Talin-Armavir, Voghji-Getashen, Berd-Chambarak, Abovyan-Jraber roads, as well as the inter-community roads of Ashotsk and Amasia, and the roads of villages Artagyugh, Zovasar, Garnahovit, Tsaghkasar, Voskekat, Karmrashen, Shekani are close.
The roads in the Tlik, Irind, Lusakn, Katnaghbyur, Yeghnik, Arteni, Artashavan, Ddmasar, Mastara, Nerkin Bachmaberd, Verin Bazmaberd, Nerkin Sasnashen and other communities, as well as Vardenyats Pass, Sotk-Karvachar, Abovyan-Akunq, Abovyan-Zar-Sevaberd, Kupatan-Hatis-Zovashen, Gyumri-Amasia, Ani Pemza-Gyumri and all roads of Lori province are heavy going. The Saravan-Zanger road, as well as the roads of Aragatsotn, Armavir, Kotayk, Shirak, Syunik, Tavush, Lori and Gegharkunik are partly covered with black ice.
The Emergency Situations Department of the Georgian Interior Ministry reports that the Upper Lars checkpoint is open for all kinds of vehicles with snow chains.
