ArmInfo. On January 30, as of 10 am, there were close or heavy going roads in Armenia.
The press office of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations has told ArmInfo that Vardenyats Pass, as well as the roads of rural communities Ako, Kanch, Mirak, Yeghipatrush, Dzoraglukh, Ttujur of Aragatsotn province are close. The Sotk-Karvachar, as well as the roads of Noyemberyan (Tavush province), Baghramyan (Armavir province), and the roads of Lori province. Some roads of Aragatsotn and Syunik provinces, as well as Koghb and Haghtanak villages of Tavush province are partly covered with black ice.
The Emergency Situations Department of the Georgian Interior Ministry reports that the Stepantsminda- Lars road is open for all kinds of vehicles with snow chains, except for vehicles with trailers.
The Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations also reports that in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic the Karvachar-Sotk road is heavy going and all roads are covered with black ice.
